Thank you for choosing Difela Tsa Sione ("App"), developed by ZolApps ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

It is designed to comply with international privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

a) Account & authentication data

The App offers optional sign-in via Google or Apple through Firebase Authentication. If you choose to sign in, we receive and store the following information from your identity provider:

You may also set a public handle (username) within the App. Your display name, handle, and profile image may be visible to other users in the social feed, quiz leaderboard, and multiplayer quiz features.

Signing in is optional. Many features of the App can be used without creating an account.

b) User-generated content

If you are signed in, you may post content through the App's social feed and community features, including:

This content is stored on our servers and is visible to other users of the App. You may also maintain a local list of blocked users; this list is stored only on your device.

c) Device & usage data

We may automatically collect device information (model, operating system, version, unique device identifiers), IP address, browser type, language preferences, and general usage data (pages viewed, features used, crash reports). This information is used to maintain the security and operation of the App and for internal analytics.

d) Log data

Our servers may record service-related diagnostic and performance information, including timestamps, error reports, and hardware settings.

2. Advertisements

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect non-personal information such as your device type, operating system, IP address, and anonymized identifiers to serve and measure ads. In some regions, certain identifiers (e.g., IP addresses) may be considered personal data under GDPR or CCPA.

The App may offer optional in-app purchases. All payments are processed securely by the platform's payment provider (Google Play Store or Apple App Store). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information such as credit card numbers or billing details. Your account data is processed and stored by Google Firebase, which operates servers in multiple regions worldwide. If you are located outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where Google maintains infrastructure.

Where such transfers occur, we rely on those providers' compliance with applicable data transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses for EU data). If you have created an account, you may delete it at any time from within the App by navigating to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect information processed through the App, including encrypted communication (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and secure authentication via Firebase. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in jurisdictions such as the EU under GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
